The staff are very friendly and caring, we appreciated them. The location it offers is beautiful, just off a sporty pub and the Cape Point, Boulders Beach and Imhoff Farm. There is Cafe Penguino nearby for a cup of coffee...

The staff here are well-trained and genuinely care about ensuring your stay is enjoyable, the room is beautifully decorated, and the deck offers a great view.

The accommodation was nicely updated with the convenience of a spacious double room including a large bed and useful amenities such as central heating, an ironing set, and tea and coffee making facilities.

We were in four and all of us were very impressed with the house (incredible beautiful), the cleanliness, the spacious rooms, the breakfast. The manager, Liezel, was very nice, polite, discrete but on the same time friendly. The place is very quite and walking distance from the Penguin's Beach. We can say that it is a must if you are in Simon's Town.

The room on a second floor was too noisy because of the wind. Management should fix the roof to prevent visitors from noise, what is very important to make them happy

Mariner Guesthouse is in an excellent location with all rooms having stunning seaviews of False Bay and the Simonstown area. The staff are enthusiastic, friendly and unobtrusive (they seemed to be around exactly when we needed them). The guesthouse is also a mere 10 min walk from the centre of the town's hub (although it is a fairly steep walk up the hill coming back). The view from the communal lounge at night is absolutely beautiful and the Mariner's makes for a wonderful getaway location.

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. Can't wait to go back and stay in one of the rooms with a balcony! Our room was so spacious and comfortable, with the most beautiful ensuite bathroom. We absolutely loved the little container in the bathroom with all the 'emergency' supplies. Everything looked, felt and smelled crispy clean. My type of place! I will most definitively book with Mariner Guesthouse again when I am in Cape Town. The sevice was excellent. Thank you.

The setting was marvellous and amazing, just next door to the harbour on the mountains. the room was top-notch and modern, had central heating, iron/ironing board, and a coffee/tea maker.
